The IMPERO Project Field Schools are back in Summer 2026 with two exciting sessions of archaeological excavation, training, and discovery in Southern Tuscany.

The traditional Field School at Podere Cannicci continues with expanded excavations of a rural settlement shaped by fire and abandonment. The Field School at Podere Cannicci takes place between May 22 and June 20, 2026.
But thatโ€™s not all…

๐Ÿ”” Big news: A brand-new site will debut during Session 2, and students will be the first to explore its layers! Session 2 will start on June 28 until July 25, 2026
We wonโ€™t spoil the surprise just yet, but trust usโ€”itโ€™s going to be worth the wait.
